Food: Prepared Food, Algae, small portions of frozen foods. Ours are currently feeding on the algae in their tank and supplimented with Hikari Crab Bites and Spirulina powder. We also feed them small amounts of frozen bloodworms once a month.
Temperature: 70-76°F is ideal though Yellow Shrimp can tolerate temperatures in the mid 60's. We seem to experience the best color around 74°F with the ones we are currently keeping.
Information

A beautiful Neocaridina shrimp. A direct relative of the Cherry Red and wild Neocaridina species, These shrimp were selectively bred in Japan to obtain the bright yellow coloration. The line moved to Europe in the mid 90's and is a relatively new introduction the the United States, first appearing around 2006. The Yellow shrimp has enjoyed a lot of popularity due to its beautiful color and ease of care.
These are prolific breeders and if water conditions are maintained should thrive for you with little effort required. You can enjoy generations of beautiful shrimp for the life of your tank.
