Information

A shrimp that has been around the hobby for some time, Blueberry shrimp have been established in the United States for several years. Their striking, almost neon blue color makes them an eye catching addition to any tank. A peaceful shrimp, Blueberry shrimp can be seen wandering the tank grazing or hanging out in the plants. A decent algae eater, their diet should be supplimented with blanched vegetables and frozen bloodworms or brineshrimp to help bring out the robust color. Easily bred, keep your water conditions right and you will have generations of shrimp to enjoy.
