Information

One of the many new Caridina species coming out of the east. Gold Spot shrimp are found in rivers and streams in Thailand. Translucent body, these shrimp will display 5-7 spots that glow vibrantly. Females will display brownish bands in addition to the spotting. Peaceful and fairly social. A beautiful shrimp, especially noticable in well planted tanks. These are a Shrimp Spot exclusive. We recieved our original stock directly from the villagers who netted them.

Easy to care for, ours are kept at 74°F in a pH of 7. We have both wild stock and tank raised Gold Spots available. Be one of the first in the United States to own this species.
