  • Food: Flake Food, Algae. Ours are currently feeding on the algae in their tank and supplimented with Hikari Crab Bites and Spirulina powder. We also feed them frozen bloodworms once a month.

  • Water Parameters: Marble shrimp can live under conditions that are soft and slightly acidic (ph 6.6-7.0) to very hard and alkaline (ph 7.0-8.4 and above)

 

  • Larval Development: High Form. Young Marble shrimp are minature versions of the adults, no special requirements for them to reach maturity,

 

 
 
Information
An interesting dwarf shrimp. Marble shrimp are very adaptive to their enviroment. They will display light coloring in shades of tan and brown on light substrate but will quickly darken to a blackish blue with marbling on darker substrates. Active shrimp, easy care. Our Marble shrimp are very energetic and will rush out when you leave food. An excellent shrimp for those new to the hobby or a nice species for those into collecting as many as you can.
