Information

Another new import from the east now starting to appear in the United States. The Orange Sunkist Shrimp is commonly found in swampy mangroves of Indonesia. Orange shrimp are non-aggressive and adaptive. They can be housed with almost all other peaceful dwarf freshwater shrimp including Red Cherry shrimp.

Orange Sunkist shrimp are easily recognized by their bright orange bodies with distorted red patches. Their coloration instantly stands out in the tank making this one shrimp you wont have to hunt to find. The body is lean and long and bears some resemblance to the Ghost shrimp with tilted head portion, lower back/tail section and extended feeding legs.

All in all, an impressive shrimp and one that is sure to gain popularity in the hobby.
