Information

A beautiful white bodied shrimp. Snowball shrimp get their name from the white coloration of the females clutch of eggs. These are an easy to keep shrimp, accepting of minor fluctuations in water conditions. They require plenty of hiding places and display best in well lit tanks. Snowball shrimp are not as efficient algae eaters as many of the other species of dwarf shrimp though they will contribute by getting much of the hard to reach algae in the nooks and crannies of your tank. Best kept with peaceful community fish or a shrimp only tank.
