  1. Fresh new 55 gallon shrimp tank. Spider wood came from Trion Aquatics. Got two stands built and primed. One will hold three 40 gallon tanks. 1 ada, 1 crushed coral sulawessi, and 1 planted sand tank for my axolotls. The other rack will hold nine 10 gallon tanks for selective breeding.
  2. 7.2 is good I use the 8.5 and I only get 8 with crushed coral.
  3. This one does simular to the lines on the back of my aura x snow white.
  4. First pic is the aura blue tigers. The baby's are blue and some are green but when they mature they darken up.
  5. My aura blue tigers look so different in high ph. I took out 15 oebt from my 20 gallon and threw then into a fresh 55 gallon set up with the dragon stone and you can't even tell there is still a lot of shrimp feeding.
  6. I grow baby tears emersed it's very short would be perfect for crabs I have a lot I could do a trade if your interested.
  7. Move two ten gallon tanks to set up 2 more Ada tanks in their place. Also moved a 55 gallon fish tank to the garage and set up another fresh Ada tank. I have 2 more bags of Ada then 2 bags of sl aqua soil. I'm building a rack for a 40 gallon Ada tank, 40 gallon crushed coral tank, and 40 gallon sand planted axolotl tank. After that's built I'll start on a rack for 9 ten gallons with the remaining Ada and sl aqua soil as well as some neo and tiger tanks with non active substrate.
  8. Soothing I can help you out more on Facebook but I'd go with clay instead of Styrofoam I had one background and I hated it. Love my clay backgrounds though.
  9. My crypts and Buce do just fine but their not doing as well as in the other tanks. The crypts haven't produced runners at all the whole time the tanks has been set up.
  10. 0 nits and I usually do a 20% change just because
  11. I barely fed the tank till the population was over 40. And still I barely feed compared to my other shrimp tanks.
  12. When I first got my cardinal shrimp people use to look in the tank and give up on trying to find the shrimp in there. I had to show the a picture on my phone of what was in the tank. Now it's hard to find a rock that doesn't have a shrimp on it. The Cardinals come for food and are even on the sponge filter and heater. I use to be able to count how many I see around 30 - 40 was average but I can't keep count now they are more active when there's more of them and move around quite a bit. Since I've had the tank I've only done 3 water changes. The tank will be a year old in March.
  13. I have 3 of them in Ada soil no fertz or high light no co2. PH is 6 to 7 but I had one in eco with a pH of 7.2 no problems.
  14. I live in Florida the green house is just for my plumerias right now but I have plans to move and when I do I'm going to use the green house just for ponds mainly saltwater corals. The turtle does slow down a bit in the winter but not really dormant.
  15. The 55 gallon cleared up nicely. Also I thought I'd share my 30 gallon rainbow tank. Piece of spiderwood and a lot of Java moss to make my tree. I ordered some more wood from triton aquatics for 2 more 55 gallon tank set ups.
  16. I got two of them in the pack of michilings I put up for sale.
