My snapping turtle is always so happy to see me. Look how big she's gotten from the day I got her till now. I'm trying to find a nice size cb male even if it's the same size I got her at, my marble cray will give me loads of baby's to get him to her size in no time. She mainly eats the grass and plants in the ponds though.

I breed and use assassin snails heavily, the only thing you need to worry about is when it doesn't have food to eat it will find a shrimp if it can catch it anyway... the only time this is a problem is when I put a bunch of assassin snails too clean a tank and once they ate all the snails I found a dead cherry getting eaten. Just use one snail and you shouldn't have a problem, if you have multiple tanks just move him around daily.

My first berried carbon rilli. Also got a nice group of my red rilli culls out they are a nice size and starting to breed like rabits in my puffer tank. I'm selling 20 of the red rilli culls for $45 shipped plus freebies.

Every time my blue rillis molt with eggs the eggs go with the molt. My parameters are all the same as my other 8 neo tanks. Is this genetics?

Shrimp molt as babies, it happens when they out grow their skin, just like a snake sheding it's skin. If you see the saddle that's when you stick her with the male you want.

Personally I'd take those 3 and breed them alone, I wouldn't mix them with a pure yellow gene, unless you did it in a breeder box but you don't want them to ruin your colony

Tomorrow I'm going to start moving tanks away from the remodel job I'm doing in the fish room, might swing the sledge hammer a few times once their out of the way. Also check out the mushrooms in my bumblebee dart frog tank. Threw this red moss into my red cherry tank and its starting to look real nice.
