  1. im thinking of crossing the blue and a white for a powdered blue cray
  2. Today I'll share my crayfish alleni project. The first pic is of one if my baby grow out tanks, I throw my berried female in there(in the second picture is my current berried female) once the eggs hatch I put her back into her bare bottom 10g tank with a little bit of crushed oystershell and pvc for a hide And a divider I keep two in each ten. I have 1 white alleni and 6 blues. In the summer I breed tadpoles and feed them to my crays.
  3. Damn so jelous I'd have them build my tank but if do my own fish and aquascape
  4. Welcome you'll love soothings malawa shrimp I got some my self
  5. My duck weed grows so fast I fill up gallon bags of it every week and feed it to my koi fish. I use my fingers to get it so I don't catch baby shrimp in the act
  6. I used crushed oyster shells in my tanks but I just sprinkle a little over the top of my substrate. There is no difference in mu ph by using this little amount. It's just there for when the shrimp need it.
  7. Why are you putting crushed coral in your filter? Also crushed coral increases ph
  8. My krib chiclid tank. There's a Madagascar lace plant I got from han.
  9. My lps store sold me 3 wilds as blues I new they were not blue velvets or rillis so lucky for me I kept them separated and waited for them to grow up and identified them as wilds. I keep my wilds in my newt tanks.
  10. My wilds breed and grow much faster then my cherrys, if your wilds continue to live with your cherrys the wild gene is Dom and you will eventually end up with all wilds. But you might already have f2 or even f3 of red cherry that's been crossed with wild and it will be hard to find out which ones are already throwing wilds you need to remove those as well. Start selective breeding your bright reds or even beter start over with cherrys that came from a reputable source.
  11. Heres my blue ram tank, it's currently on my 20g rack, but I plan to make all 10 of those tanks a different neo tank once my fish room is finished.
  12. 1. DETAquarium 2. colorfan 3. RyeGuy411 4. Poopians 5. TheGardenofEder Ty
  13. Found these in one of my tanks at first I thought it was black worms the we're ment for my chiclids. But I don't think that happen it's highly unlikely. What is this worm and should I be worried if so how do I remove with out hurting my shrimp?
  14. Here's some of my chocolate from soothing as well. Also their is plans to add 4 more shrimp to my list this week if I can find someone with all the shrimp I want might have to wait till next week though. Going to start a new stand soon.
  15. Not really just really strong earthy it's died down today a lot I even open the cover a little.
  16. No I don't sorry it's been a project of mine scince I was young started with the one large pond then slowly added rock and the other two ponds. I'm hoping this year to really grow out some of the plants
  17. I don't boil mine and just leave mine in and the shrimp devoure them, eventually there's nothing left of them and I add more
  18. Red cherrys crossed with blur velvets is how I got my red rills
  19. Heres my snapping turtle set up. The three ponds are separate I use no filters because she likes to be able to hide in the mucky water. I feed her gold fish in a bucket sometimes just to watch her eat. She rips the heads off the fish, then eats the body, and then saves the head for last she quite vicious yet I can still touch her nose with out her biteing me.
  20. So I thought something died in my fish room. I cleaned everything out wiped down all the tanks, mopped the floors, and still had this horible smell coming from my room. I narrowed it down to my ada tank. I put some towels down over the tank to reduce the smell in the room. What else can I do to reduce the smell? I was going to set up a 55g with 3 bags if ada but not if it's going to smell like this.
  21. Why are you adding ammonia to your tank? I thought the purpose was to cycle the ammonia out
