Well I threw them into a 20g together they are both a little of 3 iniches I got two males that are much bigger that I'm going to save for when my female is bigger.
I throw my culls all over. I got a few Red cherrys in my puffer tank, as well as an angle fish tank, all my wilds go in my newt tanks. But I like to throw them where they won't be a quick treat I still have my shrimp in all those tanks.
I say go for it we do temp control with reptiles but I've never heard of it for shrimp or fish even for that mater. I for one would be happy with all female clutches
So I had one of my males push the eggs out of the cave. I figured they weren't fertile so I tryed throwing them into another males cave. He too kicked the eggs out. So right before I was about take the eggs out they were gone. Thought they were eaten but found them all swimming around. Are they going to survive with out the father looking over them. There is only cory cats and fry in the tank so they should be fine
I have a newt tank that is heavily populated I use cherry shrimp to eat the left over food. The shrimp population had never grown though either the newts eat them or the parameters are no good for the babies
