Rooibos tea works wonders on some other types of algae, it may be a safe method of dosing this algae.

That's good news, actually.  I'm experimenting with liquid aminos derived from soy and it has some naturally occurring sodium in it.  My theory is that it will be exceptional for creating biofilm, however I have to go further in my testing.

I've been in the shrimp hobby for about a year now. My shrimp consist of red cherrys, yellow neos, orange neos, blue velvet, OEBT, crs, cbs, red rilli, and some random crosses. Also i breed albino bristlenose plecos, cory cats, few different chiclids, assassin snails, newts, axolotls, syrens, few different spiecies of chameleons, koi fish, and some turtles. I'm working on breeding a few different type of poison dart frogs.
