I am a fissidens junkie currently keep 11 different types. I am in love with fissdens!! Although me new favorite could be jungermania truncata or "jade lotus" moss.

Thought I would share some of my planted tanks over the last couple of years.
Planted tanks and aquascaping has grown quite big in South Africa in the last 2 or so years.
 
We are still way behind with shrimps, as it is a grey area. We are aloud to trade and sell shrimp in the country, but illegal to import, we only have the basics like crs, cbs, normal tigers and cherries.

Can I use distilled water instead of RO and then remineralize it?

I got my new macro lens in the mail yesterday. Here are a few shrimp shots The berried shadow panda you see is the berried BKK panda I had pictured in my first post. Turns out she was supposed to be blue!

I use Controsoil exclusively in all of my shrimp tanks. So far, great results! I use MK-Breed Blue Diamond and currently testing Shrimpy Daddy products in my Blue Bolt tank, I am on my 11th day so far.

yes i am still using SD products in my current ADA 60p, but im slowly migrating some of my pintos and tibees back into my 40b.  Unfortunately this is my only tank that i'm using the SD product with.  My 3 other tanks are running:
 
40b controsoil with SaltyShrimp+BacterAE (HMF filter + 1 dualsponge filter)
20long ADA aquasoil with Salty Shrimp+BacterAE (HMF Filter + 1 Sponge Filter)
12g Planted Long with ADA aquasoil Salty Shrimp+BacterAE (small redsea nano filter + co2 injection)
 
All the tanks above are healthy and breeding constantly.  Im at a point where i feel like i should do a restart and go back to using what worked best for me. 

I use something like these to measure the powders.

I posted about this awhile ago after Shrimpfan brought it to my attention. Here's the link. My test results are Post #26. I've stuck with the API test and GH of 5 for this tank and I finally got my first berried shrimp.
