Hey Mr. F, I got one of those glass shrimp catchers that is worth its weight in gold. I have to bring it into my office sometimes and it is like moving bank deposits that are breakable. Gillz is evengoing to make a custom wooden box to house it in. "Don't break the shrimp catcher!" It moves shrimp virtually stress free since they don't leave the water. 

You could add a single Nerite snail.  They only grow between 1/2" to an inch, and keep the glass free of algae.
 
 

I would suggest Malaysian Trumpet snails, I just got some from flip aquatics they're super cheap https://www.flipaquatics.com/product-category/snails/

All the shrimp you will receive contain pinto genes. These shrimp are the result from crossing a high grade German red pinto (Nadal) and one of my nice female wine reds. So far all the generations have shown all red offspring including the bolts. The majority of offspring appear to be mostly pinto patterns. They will produce belly, zebra and spothead pinto. As well as wine reds, RKK, and red bolts. Shrimp are aprox 1/4" in size unsexed and randomly selected. The taitibee pinto hybrid will produce a wider variety of patterns including pinto misch, pinto, extremes, red steel and other taitibee type patterns.

Got my RRFs! HUGE Portions. Healthy long roots, which are BRIGHT red and pink. Leaves just as pictured. So pretty. 
They take a day or so to flatten out, so you have to try and train the leaves so they dont get wet, but they are cooperative- and BEAUTIFUL. 
Just after I put them in and was still fussing with the leaves:

ever seen this type of shrimp? all mixed up

Getting ready for f2 aura hybrid

The eggs on the AGT seems to go from brown to clearish when the arrival date comes near.  I'm going to have to remember that.  Everything is new again since my main focus isn't neos anymore.
 
Speaking of which, there are several people on here I have obtained my very nice new cards from recently. James Aquatics, Newellcr , Shrimpscales , Sbarbeee , Jynn , and also thank you Joe's Aqua !  You folks are awesome!

Hi guys, been lurking around the forums for a while. I'm a long time reefer, new to the world of shrimping. I just love how low maintance these guys are compared to my reef tanks! Anyways here's my setup:
 
tank: an old fluvel spec II (former desktop reef tank)
 
substrate: inert florite
 
water: ri/di water since I have it around for my reefs, remineralized with Bee Shrimp gh+ to a Tds of 150-170
ph ~6.5
 
decor/flora:
manzanita branch with Fissidens geppi
a few random crypts
random mats of several mosses
frogbits and duckweed floating
anubis nana in the back chamber
 
inverts:
bunch of mini ramshorn snails
2 red bolts and 3 wr's I got from plamski, maybe I'll add some pandas; not sure if I want a mixed tank yet

this comes directly from a tank... it emerged spontaneously in a tank in Germany. and that friend was really kind and send me a small amount of this plant.. it is the largest fissidens close to fontanus up untill now. i do not knwo what species exactly it is...
