Finally got some time to take pictures of my tanks today. Here are some of my favorites. (also can anyone learn me how to decrease the size of these photos while posting them? Or do I have to do that before I post them?
 

 
 

 

 

 

 

I've only bought from members here and it has served me well. Everyone I have purchased from has been overtly gracious and grateful to have my business. I don't require that but it's a great symbol of how good the people on this site are. I hope it stays that way as the forum scales up.

I don't know bout gh but as far as ph buffering to 6.xx, it hasn't worked for me. It's been 2 weeks. I have it in my filter. I probably wouldn't buy again.

I used it for a while when I first set up my 7.5g tank. The only thing I noticed it did was lower the gH to 3 it did not seem to effect the pH at all (RO water remineralized with SS gH+).  I believe the balls are mostly carbon and this gH lowering did not last long maybe 1.5 months or so. I would not use it again.

Just a small update. I ordered Blue Pandas, Blue Bolts, and a BKK Panda from Shrimpscales. He was amazing to work with and the shrimp he sent me are beautiful! AND he sent two extra! I would highly recommend him if anyone is in the market for some amazing looking Taiwan bees.
 
I am placing my order with Joes Aqua tomorrow for some Wine Red stripes and Pandas, BKK stripes, and BKK Jelly shrimp.

the tank is completely cycled. i just think its my use of distilled and controsoil that made it that super low. oh well! my scarlet badis love it right now. haha

I think my husband's even more addicted to my shrimp than I am. He doesn't show it but he keeps on going to the tank and counting them..

Wow, this is terrible news. I had a fellow hobbyist ask me which size I was using, and of course its the 5x8 breather bag. This has to be the most popular sized bag they sell, I don't understand. I will definitely be following this thread for alternatives.
 
EDIT: Just wrote Kordon a decent sized message encouraging them to bring the 5x8 bag back. I told them they are losing an entire market from their product, I think if we all send them a little letter via their website, maybe they will think about bringing it back?

did my normal water change and after about 3 weeks my spiderwood no longer floats!!! so ive added to to my tank and it looks amazing. my sprimp already approve next step will me to get some buce maybe some moss for it. here are some pics

It was a surprise when I got home from work yesterday to find one of my Aura Blue shrimp berried. I've had them since January and was beginning to wonder if I had all males. I have one which I believe is male and he is about 1 3/4"  long. He's a big sucker. Is it possible it may take them longer to sexually mature than other shrimp since they get pretty big?  These pics are from  when I got them. I'll need to get a pic of the big guy. When I got them they were almost 3/4" in length. EIther way It was nice to see her with some eggs.

I've been gushing about this all day, but this is my FIRST ever berried female... EVER! I just recently introduced my Neon Yellows into their tank about a week ago and noticed on 10/23 that this one was berried. It's been two days, and I am still kind of freaking out. I am obsessed with watching her fan her eggs and graze on moss. Did I mention I was obsessed? >.>

My Fluval Flora tank (7.9G), started with 3 or 4 shrimps in April 2013, at least removed 100 from this tank since then.... Not much scape though ;-)

The Tamron I use is the macro 1:1 SP AF90mm F/2.8 Di.
