As of today she has given me 3 batches of babies since August. Each time the babies have been born on the 31 day mark. The father is one of my german red pintos.

I use 50 watt Titanium Finnex heaters. I love them and they look great in my small 7g cubes and I also use one in my 20g long and it works perfectly. Very small and discrete! (Both fixtures are still working, but, honestly, the bulbs are worth more than the fixtures now, and I've been meaning to upgrade the fixtures to better ones. One leg is missing from both fixtures, but they still stand on the rim, and can be replaced or fixed.)

Wow! Very intimidating. So I would like to say a huge Thank You to those of you who do or have done this. Without you, the importers, I couldn't enjoy this hobby.

This is a pic of one of my favorite patterns in the tank.

I tend to put my mosses closer to the glass as well as cholla logs or IAL. Those are always good spots for the shrimp to graze and I'll have better chances of them getting close enough to the glass to get good shots. Also, these things make for great looking and varying backgrounds.

I'm currently in the process of cycling two tanks for Caridina shrimp. I have a 20 gallon long that has been through hell and back that still holds my remaining shrimp. I will be transferring these shrimp to the new tank as well as adding some new additions. A few months ago I purchased a macro lens for my iPhone. I've been able to get some great shots. This journal will be devoted to awesome pictures of my shrimp and the new tanks.
Here's a few of my favorites:
