I'm currently in the process of cycling two tanks for Caridina shrimp. I have a 20 gallon long that has been through hell and back that still holds my remaining shrimp. I will be transferring these shrimp to the new tank as well as adding some new additions. A few months ago I purchased a macro lens for my iPhone. I've been able to get some great shots. This journal will be devoted to awesome pictures of my shrimp and the new tanks.

I purchased some from Joes Aqua and they retained their "jelly" coloration. Only one darkened, but that's when she was berried and then she lightened back up.

I'm not sure about OEBT, but Robert Lupton has some pretty amazing Royal Blue Tigers!

Here are some of my German red pinto mischling. These are GRP x WR. Percentage of pintos to WR offspring is almost 50:50. The mother is on her third batch of babies.

It's been almost a year and I think I have my first official pinto. It looks blue now and I wish and pray that it will stay blue. But, I doubt it. More than likely it'll turn black. This little guy was born today and is from the second generation.

I'm in the process of planning and setting up three new cube tanks. I'm looking for some inspiration! I love seeing everyone post pictures of their shrimp. So I was hoping everyone would post pictures of their tank setups in this thread

Today the second generation was born in the yellow tank. Here is one of the babies only a few hours old. I think the yellow is going to pop on this guy when he gets bigger. I also noticed a few blueish colored babies in the tank as well. These guys never cease to amaze me!

Just a couple differences at this point, but this is the general scape of all of my shrimp tanks. Hope this helps!

If you use vocalic ash based substrate, like ADA Aquasoil, Controsoil, Brightwell. you have more than enough trace elements.

Okay I have never personally used Slaty Shrimp GH+, but it has been around for a while and many people have success with it. I have used MK Blue diamond before and had tons of berried females in the short time I used it however I did have some indications that there may not be enough nutrients in the water. I am setting up two new tanks and would like some advice on which conditioner to use based on experience.
I know a few people who use Mosura Old Sea Mud so I ordered it to use as a nutrient supplement only dosing it once a week if needed. It may solve the issue I had with the Blue diamond conditioner the first time.
I recently lost the majority of my shrimp due to some unfortunate events so I would like to use a conditioner that will provide my shrimp with exactly what they need to grow, molt safely and completely, reproduce, and have high shrimplet survival considering all other conditions are optimum (oxygen in the water, biofilm, etc..)

My nano tanks are not inspirational from culling point of view but I like them anyway!
