Fund this picture of an interesting moss called Solenostoma Tetragonum (crown moss?). Seems to be found in the same area as buce and is a liverwort. Is anyone keeping this one or seen it for sale?

looks good! what kind of sulawesi shrimp?  You'll need to add Co2 when mixing the salty 8.5 to get it to disolve completely.

Wow thanks Amanda for the info. That's the first time I've heard of that happening.

Rachel O'Leary has a new article in July/August edition of Amazonas on Parasites in Freshwater Shrimp. She wasn't able to find a good treatment for Ellobiopsis. At least it's there for anyone who doubts it's a real issue. Good job!

I have spent tons of $$$ trying to keep sulawesi shrimp and unfortunately I am still inexplicably drawn to them. I have tried a few different setups which ultimately ended up not being able to maintain the proper parameters for these shrimp.  I am thinking about trying one more time and I think this tank might be able to do it but I wanted to get some opinions from those who are successful before I spend the money.

The substrate is aragonite and I have just been doing water changes with tap because this tank used to have some fish in it. I have sulawesi mineral 8.5 on hand if needed but maybe I don't? The main problem my other tanks had was that I could not keep the pH up and GH and KH at the proper levels. Since this tank seems to be stable, I'm hopeful I might be onto something.

Also there is alphaprobreeders.com, eliteinverts.com, and breedinusa.com. Thats all the website i got for the cardinal shrimps lol.

I just posted a new product review on some LEDs I have been using for sometime.I liked them so much I purchased several more units for aquariums I am setting up in the near future. I know this may not be the best choice for "racks" but these are going on all my show tanks.
