  1. I work graveyard shift now, so have to get a nap in before work. I'll list more tomorrow.  Please be patient if I don't get back to you immediately. Working nights, sleeping in the day and still trying to be there for family is exhausting.

I have a gym meet for my daughter's gymnastics on Sat, so I won't be around that day most likely. By the time I get back, I'll be lucky to get much sleep at all before work.

This is taking a bit longer than expected to list everything in my very little free time each day. So, your patience while updating my list for free things (as it *may* stretch into next week) is appreciated.

  2. Hi shrimpers.

Some of you may remember me, others not.  When I started shrimping many years ago,  people helped me out with equipment and stock.  When I had a break from shrimping a couple years ago, friends helped me out when I got into it again.

Now, since it looks as if I'll be gone from the hobby for quite a while- it is time for me again to give back and help others. The circle

    of shrimping continues.

Items are listed below. Unless a price is next to the item, consider it FREE if it would be of help to you! :jig:

    Fair warnings:

    1) NO PICK UP.

    2) You would have to pay for shipping. The cost may vary depending on the type of items you obtain, and how heavy the box is. Either priority or regular mail. Because of this, I can't give a shipping quote until you are done. And then the cost would only be shipping, and if any packing is needed.

    3) It may take a couple days for me to make/find boxes to ship your items in.

    4) Items may be dusty/have water spots, etc.

Oh, one more thing. We have some GREAT dealers and members here who sell shrimp items.  In no way is it my intention to have them lose sales since I have limited amounts of items anyway. Once you see something you may have been interested in- but is now given away- please consider supporting one of those sellers!:money:

    OKay, let's get started.

Chemicals, first. All those knowingly past exp. dates have been thrown out. As always, use chemicals at your own risk. I assume no responsibility for the chemicals and how they are used, yadda yadda.

    CHEMICALS
    - 1000cc opened bottle of SL Aqua Purify. Barely any used. Manufactured 11/24/2015, three year shelf life.

    - 500ml bottle SL Aqua Blue Wizard half full. Don't see exp. date.

    - 1 fl ounce PraziPro, unopened. Exp date 06/18

    - MK Breed Blood Diamond. Looks to be never opened. Don't see exp. date.

    - (2 bottles) African Cichlid conditioner, 8 fl ounces, never opened. Don't see exp date.

    - 4 fl ounces Kordon methylene blue, never opened. Don't see exp. date.

    - 100g Salty Shrimp 8.5 Sulawesi Mineral, I added a scoop I found, some powder used, but mostly full.  Don't see exp. date.

    - 200g Shrimp King Sulawesi Salt gh+/kh+. Still in box, never opened. Don't see exp. date.

    - (24 bottles) 2 oz Jungle Natural Colors powder.  Basically powdered Tannin/humic acid. Unopened. Don't see exp. date, but it's dry powder.

    - 250g Aldrich Chitosan. Laboratory grade from back when I was experimenting with making my own mineral powders. Opened, and maybe 1/2 used. Don't see exp. date.

    - 40 oz API Ammo-Carb. Opened, maybe 30 oz left? Don't see an exp.date.

    - (3 bottles) 1.25 fl ounces API kh test solution bottle, exp. 2019, 2020, 2021

    - bottle of 1.25 fl ounces API gh test solution, exp 2019

    - (21) 10 ml Aqueon water conditioner packets, don't see an exp date.

    - (7) 15ml TetraAqua Aquasafe water conditioner packets with bio extract, don't see an exp date.

I think that's all for chemicals right now, unless I find more when moving stuff out.

    Equipment

    -  (3) Still in package floating glass thermometers w/suction cup

    - (25+) (15+) Used floating glass thermometer w/suction cup, no idea how well the suction cups are now.

    - (3) Plastic 3 way air valve group with no tank clip.

    - Plastic 4 way air valve group with tank clip

    - Plastic tank clip to hold a 2 way air valve

    - Topfin airline connection kit, never opened. Contains 5 individual air plastic valves/two suction cups/and Y valves.

    - Around 14 oz of new porous media (looks like pebbles), opened.

    - (20) NIB 15w T10 120v light bulbs

    - 3/4" diam, 12" long clear plastic gravel cleaning tube, length expands

    - 7/8" diam, 12" long clear plastic gravel cleaning tube, length  expands

    - 1" diam, ~12" long clear plastic gravel cleaning tube. The end is cut (manufactured) at a 45 deg angle.

    - 2" diam, 11" long clear plastic gravel cleaning tube. Coms with end attachment to make an oval at the inlet 1.5" x 4.25" if desired.

    - 4 rolled up lead plant weights

    - still in package Cypress Accessories System Holder.  This was a hard to find item at the time for me. Bought for holding 1/2" to 5/8" flexible tubing over the rim of a tank without it kinking. Plastic thumbscrew tightens holder to the rim. Never used.

    - (4) (3) (1) Tetra Water Wonder 10g Internal Power Filter #50050-600.  Still In box, never used.  I *think* everything is there, but don't hold me to it.  Keep in mind, this is made for fish and may require modding for shrimp.

    - (4) (1) Great Choice 10-20g Internal Power Filter, 90 gph flow rate. Still in box, never used. I *think* everything is there, but don't hold me to it.  Keep in mind, this is made for fish and may require modding for shrimp.

    - (5) generic 1/2" x 1" blue cylinder sand air stones

    - 3/4" generic blue sphere sand air stone

    - (7) Metaframe Bubble-Up Air Stones.  These are white (ceramic?) disks sandwiched on both sides by green plastic.  These were manufactured in the 1970's and designed to be taken apart with a single screw should they ever get clogged.  A toothbrush on the disk, put back together and it's cleaned and works fine again.  My favorite in air stones.  Super hard to find  for them, so when I found them I bought as many as I could.  These are not in package and will need to be cleaned. One is missing the plastic cap on screw, but does not affect performance.

    - (3) Still in package and never opened Metaframe Bubble-Up Air Stones.  Read above description.

    - San Francisco Bay Brand Shrimp Hatchery (2 Liter bottle square base kind.)

    - San Francisco Bay Brand Educational Brand Shrimp Kit still in box, never used. This is the cube with clear jar on top.

    - (25+) (19+) (16+) (14+) Used submersible glass heaters. Most are 50 watts. Will require cleaning. No idea on suction cup quality now. When pulled, all heaters worked. Do have a couple 100 watts, and at least one 150 watt. Just tell me how many and the watts you want. (In tank thermometer recommended to double check settings on any heater.)

    - NIB never opened Tetra Whisper HOB Power Filter 20, 10-20 gallon, 105 gph.

    - used HOB AquaClear Power filter 70, 40-70 gallon. Will need cleaned. Standoff on bottom is missing, so tape a small styro block if needed.

    - used Second Nature Whisper HOB Power Filter 2. Looks like 20 gallon? Will need cleaned.

    - used HOB Top Fin 10 (at least the cover fits. No indicator on actual filter that I see.) Inlet tube is there, but bottom extension, if you need it, is missing. Will need cleaned.

    - used HOB 10g filter. No inlet pipe. Will need cleaned.

-used HOB 10g filter. Will need cleaned.

    - HUGE never used HOB filter. Top is missing, so unknown type.  Dimensions are roughly 8 in top to bottom, 14 in across, 6.5 in front to back. Has inlet, but extension pipe is gone. Will need cleaned.

    - 1 oz Organic Fennel Seed Powder from Egypt

    - 10g Organic Dried Irish Wild Rose Petal Powder

    -  ~70g Astaxanthin Powder.  My own personal warning is don't use this with yellow neos.  If you get this, please share freely with sample packs if anyone wants any. This a HUGE amount.  Dusting of food, or feeding by tooth pick is the way to go. Depending on how many tanks you have, this will last you YEARS!

    - bag of dried leaves. Could either contain mulberry, nettle or cherry.  I just kind of threw the  leaves together.

    - 1 cup dried and powdered Mulberry leaves from Hungary. Feed with toothpick. This will last a VERY long time.  Keep it dry/cool, and you may have it for years.

    - 1 cup dried and powdered Nettle leaves form Korea. Feed with toothpick. This will last a VERY long time.  Keep it dry/cool, and you may have it for years.

    - 1 cup dried and powdered Dandelion leaves from Croatia.  Feed with toothpick. This will last a VERY long time.  Keep it dry/cool, and you may have it for years.

    -  Another 1 cup dried and powdered Dandelion leaves from Croatia.  Feed with toothpick. This will last a VERY long time.  Keep it dry/cool, and you may have it for years.

    - 16 oz metal can of C grade, min 65% hatch out rate Brine Shrimp Eggs.  Opened, but very little used. This will last a VERY long time.  Keep it dry/cool, and you may have it for years. Have to hatch them yourself. (see equipment list for hatching supplies if you don't have any.)

    - 1 oz jar of Plecocaine powder

More items such as food and equipment will be added as I have time. I hope to get mostly everything listed this week.  Most equipment will need to be cleaned.

US shipping only. Message me here at Shimp Spot if interested in anything. If you want me to hold items to ship together (until I've listed almost everything), please message me here and let me know that, too.

  3. I sold what I thought was the only package I had, removed the moss, then found out I had two more packages left! :hocky:

So here we go again... These are Chocolate Neos.  Color ranges from solid dark to reddish to clearish sakura grade, ranging from young to adult.

Pic showing some ranges of color saturation:

Two packages of 10 shrimp left in the tank.

Take one package for the sale price of 29.50!

**Take both packages (20 shrimp) for a bundle sale price of 54.95!**

Shipping would be $12 for priority + heat pack. (Continental US Shipping only.)

As always, first to pm me gets them.

    Thanks. :)

  4. OKay, because I'm breaking down tanks, this plant has to go.

A couple people have told me this is Pellia, however in my mind this still remains a mystery.  It is certainly not subwassertang, or mini pellia and pics I've seen of classic pellia has the plant growing upward... not bending down like a weeping willow.

Perhaps this an unusual plant in the hobby, so it is not easily identified?  Or- perhaps it is pellia, just growing in a way I have not seen before? Weird.

    58b713794b75d_pelliaunknown2.jpg.b230dab

In either case, the tank is being broken down.

This plant is not tied to anything and measures roughly:

    12" long

    6" wide

    4" tall

    (A *VERY* rough volume estimate [L x W x H] is 288".)

Keep in mind this plant is measured in water, as there are still YKK in the tank and I didn't want to disturb them until it is sold. Then I'll sell whatever I have left of the YKK in another posting.

$19.95 + you pay for your choice of USPS shipping.

First one to pm gets it.

    Thanks. :)

I believe I only have one package of 10 shrimp left in the tank. I'll know more when I move moss.

Take the package for the sale price of 29.50.  Then they are gone.

Shipping would be $12 for priority + heat pack.

    Continental US Shipping only.

As always, first to pm me gets them.

    Thanks. :)
