Just feed food for the fish.  Extra food will be gobbled up by the cray and shrimp.

I'll be interested in your results.  I've waited a very long time for one that's easy to use!

Getting back into the shrimping game and I want to focus more on true breeding shrimp, so my Diamond colony is being sold/traded off.

Yes, this is the real deal, and yes- not many people have them anymore.

Diamond Shrimp

This is the diamond strain that throws chocolate and occasional blacks, blues, reds, and misc morphs.  The Blue Diamond strain- for instance- was a selection from these. Some say Black Rose and Carbons came from Chocolate Diamonds as well...

I personally liked that I could keep all the different types thrown together in the same tank and they wouldn't revert back to wilds. 

I think I may have three packages available immediately.  After that, the rest of the babies have to grow up and then they also will be sold and the tank redone for new shrimp. 

You will be receiving Breeding Adults and Juvies.  Most of them are brown, as I had people buy most of the other colors that wanted to play with genetics.  No worries though.  The occasional colors will pop up for you as they did for me.

I know some frog keepers will actually wax the outside of their glass with paraffin or car wax.

Different theories about that, Euryth.  Some people feel feeding small pellets or powder allows each shrimp to graze without competition for one pellet.

Others feel that there is more chance for bad water quality that way.

No real correct answer.  Just shades of gray.

I see my neos on the side walls of the tank often, but the cards just prefer to wander in the bottom.

All depends if aesthetics is important to you. I use OSB and it holds up fine, and is cheaper.  Doesn't look as good as ply though.

I'm surprised to hear that about the Alita-6.  I have an Alita 60 and it's a hum compared to other air pumps I've had.

Still looks like a fem to me.  Shrimp are full of surprises though.  I've been fooled more than once! LOL

Sometimes the first episode is the pilot they have to show to prove to the network their idea will work.  Form there, adjustments are made to appease the big wigs.
