  1. Heyya folks! Time for some more items to be offered! Shrimp Malawa [Caridina pareparensis parvidentata] 1.95 ea (10 for 29.50 shipped) These can be kept with cherries without cross breeding. Breed rapidly and are even more goof proof than cherries for me! Crayfish CPO aka Mexican Orange Crayfish [Cambarellus patzcuarensis] $10 ea (larger than ~1") Unsexed. Just 2 left Marmorkrebs aka Self Cloning Marbles [Procambarus fallax f. virginalis] 2.50 ea for babies/juvies/young adults. Best for using cray fry as feeders for fish/turtles/etc. to condition for breeding. Tip: Freeze fry when appropriate size, or you'll be over run with crays! They berry as early as 2" long and can have hundreds of fry at one time. Fish Convict Fish [Amatitlania nigrofasciata] $1 ea (larger than ~1" long) Plants Guppy Grass [Najas guadalupensis] $6 cup, 2 cups or more $5 ea. This is from my Malawa tank. No snails, no algae that I see. But as always dip to make sure. Please be aware, as of the moment, I can only mail on Mondays and Fridays. I also only ship within the continental US. Shipping consists of insulated priority box with breather bags for all shrimp/crays/fish. Plant may be put in sandwich bag. Shipping is only $10 no matter how many ordered.
  2. I moved this to the fish section where you'll get more dedicated viewers.
  3. I thin you may be talking about OEBT (pic from google)
  4. I read about scales continuing to grow over the eyes?
  5. Awesome. Yeah, for me I figured it would be good in case I decided to take it down and move it. No glue meant it could be taken apart at another time. Your maintenance project will always be ongoing. You'll find you always want something better, or something that can be done a new way. LOL
  6. Anyone know a seller of Arochnochium kulsiense?
  7. Another option is to do larger macro shrimp like Red Claw Shrimp. They get ~3" big and can be very nice colors. Maybe even even some prawns if you are just doing this for you or a display tank. Ie. Macrobrachium rosenbergii Here's a good link to a site that sell for aquarium hobbyists as well as commercial. Supposed to be good eating, as well. http://www.aquacultureoftexas.com/index.htm Crayfish/small lobsters would work too in a set up that large.
  8. I love those red spots on the head on the otherwise snow white body!
  9. I'm rather new at crystals myself, however crs x TB will yield mischlings. crystal look alikes that have TB genetics. Breeding these will results in more TB and crystals.
  10. I'm sure different ideas will vary, however I'm thinking an oebt cull of opposite sex with good stripes and poor color in the tissue.
  11. Kinda looks like what is called a Mustang Shrimp. (Paracaridina zijinica) Also Camouflage Tiger Zwerggarnele
  12. Ran across this article on a non-electric way of cooling rooms using a special table, and my mind naturally went to wondering for it could be designed for keeping tanks a constant temperature... http://www.treehugger.com/sustainable-product-design/climactic-table-thermal-sponge.html
  13. Lots of us like to dabble with plants in soil as well, however if you ever run across a Dendrocnide moroides don't buy it. Although a stinging nettle like we feed shrimp, this is much much worse. http://www.treehugger.com/natural-sciences/gympie-gympie-plant-sting-can-madden-kill.html Originally found in Australia.
  14. http://www.treehugger.com/gadgets/3d-printing-gives-sea-turtle-new-jaw.html And this one was actually given a new way to get around after missing a leg. An elementary school class developed a creative way.
  15. So you separated F1s and then colony bred? So F4 then is a guesstimate then, no?
  16. That was my original plan several years ago. Not being able to keep tigers alive kinda blew that program. LOL
  17. Agreed. I used to own dozens of non-ven snakes. I'd have the occasional escapes around the house as well. LOL
  18. Congrats, dude. I've tried TT, OEBT and royals in the past and couldn't keep the suckers alive.
  19. Are you separating each generation, or colony breeding?
  20. Are you able to take a pic more of the underside? Eggs will be more round, and the fungus will be spiky.
  21. I can't find anything about it. I'm thinking it may be genitalia, but no facts found...
  22. Wait...you are using a sponge.and aquaclear 30. Were they seeded first?
