I have a lot to learn about crs, so I'm hoping some opinions will help me here. My BB were held in my super red project crs tank while getting another tank ready. One of the BB became berried and gave birth before being moved to the new tank. However she wasn't the only one who released during this time. Weeks later, I'm noticing some of the tiny look like brownies instead of crs. Is it possible to differentiate misch from crs? Are these misch, or a possible throwback to cbs, or what?

Any chance of getting a vid of it in action? You can just use beads or purigen or something for example.

Mine is more practical. I used to breed mammals and reptiles. Wood substrate gets ALL OVER If you miss a substrate change the room stinks If an invert gets out, they won't go far (for long) or cause destruction. It's a lot more convenient to change water than wood substrate. I've gotten bitten from rats, mice, snakes, lizards, but never aquatic inverts.

Why silicone it to the glass at all? If you decide to move it, it will be challenging. Instead, drill out a hole in the cholla, and insert a suction cup. Use a bit of silicone if needed to hold the suction cup to the cholla.

I use gh+ for my fish with no problems.

Sounds like a pseudo TiB project.
