I keep mine in 80F, but as I said- they adapt very well. Lots of people who have bought them from me keep them in cherry params, and a couple have even tried crs params.
The good news is that you have the genetics to work with. They obviously have some white, so you should be able to breed for more coverage. I think you could have a good corner of the market on those.

Extra oxygen can speed up the cycle, but be on the lookout for high ammonia or nitrite reading while the bloom is happening. That's the thing water changes are good for.
The most common way is to let it be and don't feed for several days. It will "burn itself out." Unfortunately, it can take some time. Up to 2 weeks sometimes, as long as ammonia is low. And no amount of water changes will help.
Usually the bloom will dissipate as the nitrogen cycle becomes established and stabilizes.
