  1. Two 10g are cheaper than one 20L that has 2 completely sealed sections.
  2. Well, George the lobster caught off the coast of Canada, weighed in at 20lb - leading experts to judge it has lived for 140 years. So me, using uneducated guessing, at the ratio of 1 lb per 7 years would estimate this lobster to be 392 years old.
  3. You betcha. When I was starting in racks I was lost. Now I know a few things from trial and error, and research. heh
  4. Just found this when doing my daily shrimp research! A breakthrough in ph technology! You don't have to calibrate it, it's heavy duty tough, and doesn't need that glass globe that has to be stored wet! pHit Scanner™ calibration-free pH meterSupplier: Senova Systems Description- Calibration-free - Non-glass - Dry-storage - Handheld form factor - User replaceable sensor cartridge - General laboratory use - pH Range: 2-12 - pH unit resolution: .01 - Temperature range: 5-50 °C - Integrated temperature sensor accurate to ± 0.1 °C - Automatic temperature compensated pH - Proprietary solid state sensor and reference - Cartridge diameter: 12mm The pHit Scanner™ is the world's first calibration-free pH meter. The pHit Scanner's new and unique technology platform incorporates an advanced sensor and electronics into a novel product design, resulting in a non-glass design and significantly enhancing usability compared to traditional pH meters. The pHit Scanner can also be stored dry when not in use and runs off a rechargeable battery. Data from the pHit Scanner can also be transmitted to your computer via Bluetooth or USB. The resulting data is compiled using pHit Reports™, proprietary software developed by Senova Systems, where you can view and export data being sent by the pHit Scanner.
  5. Look at what he says at the 30 second mark. That is what's confusing me. "Keep it dry before recapping..." My pinpoint needs to be kept wet at all times.
  6. Nice example woopderson. This place is a cheaper if going larger in manifolds. For example, a 20 pvc manifold is $30 as opposed to $45. Of course you can do metal hydroponic manifolds, too.
  7. So let me get this straight... Your shrimp went from this: to this?????
  8. I would have been tempted to keep it, Han, and tell them that you only do customer service and not refunds. LOL
  9. I didn't know you could feed plecos BBS!
  10. LOL I think H4N hit the nail on the head. The older the lobster is, the tougher the meat.
  11. It would be sad if they did. Just think how long this guy had to have lived to get to this size.
  12. That leaves Jesse as the only one unscathed.
  13. Yeah, I've never had a Malawa have a bacterial infection. I don't know if they are immune or what?
  14. "Weighing an astonishing 56 pounds, which is more than three times the species’ average weight, the multicolored lobster triggered an intense bidding war and ultimately fetched $95,000." http://www.grindtv.com/outdoor/outposts/post/massive-multicolored-lobster-fetches-95000/
  15. I like the large water volume for obvious reasons, however with my neo experience I know that too large and they have have a difficult time finding each other. *sigh*
  16. I have this one. http://www.kensfish.com/aquarium-supplies/air-pumps/alita-al-60-linear-air-pump.html You don't need this much power, however my point is even if going with the smaller one- I think those who tried the Alita end up loving it.
  17. https://cskyusa.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=80&search=pinto
  18. I don't think your wood is disintegrating as much as debris is collecting around it.
