I hear ya. I used to make animal balloons, so one thing I HAD to learn was how to make a well tied knot.

Nothing that depresses the heart more than receiving a wet shrimp box in the USPS mail, that's for sure!

I agree that the kordons are not as strong as Ultimates. However since I wrap my Kordons in newspaper anyway, it adds extra strength and I've never had a bust.

BD are great for people that want to keep a rainbow of cherries in their tank without worry of wilds being caused by crossing colors.

I prefer the feel of Kordon over Ultimate. Ultimate is more poly feeling while Kordon is more rubbery. Just a sensory thang. heh

With exceptions of occasional buyers that fly here to hand select high priced shrimp, I don't think we have any big exporters here in the states. After all with the major shrimp producers being in the same part of the world as the major buyers- and for cheaper than we would sell due to economy- who needs ours? heh
