  1. What pure line TBs do you know of Randy, and what's the price tag?
  2. My answer is you forgot to plug in the AC70 filter.
  3. I chickened out and added some moss. I may still try it in one tank that are expendables.
  4. I've received several inquiries about this since we started the forum, and it seems as if everybody has different ideas, but the same general idea- perks for membership. They want to support the forum monetarily so we can afford upgrades here, etc- just unsure what perks they would like. That's where you guys come in. Give ideas. What would be good? What should we avoid? What in your opinions would you appreciate as a paying member? The different tier color is an nice touch.
  5. I've liked those too. But you have to hide extension cords, etc. If you think puppy chewers are bad...
  6. Flemish giant? They were originally bred for food.
  7. It has been brought to my attention that some people feel that they would like the opportunity to have a membership patch, t-shirt, etc. High5 sent me the latest inquiry, and I thought I would bring it up and see how everyone else feels about this? Should it be it be item based? Ie. Item store? Should it be membership based? Ie. Pay $20 yearly and an item is included? Both? Ie. Able to buy from the item store, but only receive a patch/tank sticker by being a member? Any other ideas? This thread is for discussion only to guage interest.
  8. I'm just a peon. Will and h4n make this place run smoothly too!
  9. Will did the hard work by creating the forum. I just suggested it, and work a little behind the scenes.
  10. Most of you know that I honestly believe secrets in shrimping will kill the hobby in America if left to continue. For example, it was once that way with reptile breeding, and as soon as people became open with knowledge gained- the reptile business exploded with more people than ever entering the hobby! So Kudos to the members here for sharing so freely in what has been learned from breeders and personal experience! Also THANK YOU for welcoming members both advanced and new into this shrimping hobby of ours! We've done a great job in making sure everyone feels welcome here, and I'm sure we'll continue to make friendliness and openness our top priorities here! If there's ever any spam or a flame war in the making, just remember that two words to the left of the "multiquote" tab under the post is the word "report." Click on that, write your concerns, and the mods will figure things out ASAP. We're all in this together folks! We're all one community! Kudos to YOU for making this forum a success!
  11. LOL Can I help it if I think this is the best growing shrimp forum on the net? No shrimper secrets, and we all try to honestly help each other out for the betterment of shrimping!
  12. Great to see you made it here. This is a great friendly shrimp site for the advanced shrimper and newbie alike.
  13. We have some members from Canada here too. As time goes on, we'll have even more.
  14. From the pics I've seen, the young do have an orange color. As they get older they color up.
  15. How much is that remin? How many gal does it do?
  16. Just a heads up that on some places you may sell, express is another name for priority. I've never had any customer order overnight, however I deal mainly with very hardy and inexpensive shrimp. I have ordered overnight myself in expensive orders or hard to find living things. I believe if you are paying for expensive shrimp, it just makes sense to have it overnight. For the cost of one shrimp, your shipment is guaranteed. (Most sellers who do priority do not guaranteed live delivery. Too many environmental factors out of their control. It's just the way the game works.)
  17. from here it looks almost like a pinto ghost. An original var from your stock. Otherwise I'd say TiB.
