    I think the largest risk in importing "rare" or new variants is reputation. People expect variants to breed true, and when they don't- they unfairly blame the importer instead of the "manufacturer." The risk is not only in the shrimp survival, it also is in reputation. After all, you can only go on what the seller overseas tells you- and that is not always accurate.

    That's why I asked what line this was bred from. Classic BV are born red, then the red fades and just leaves blue. The blue rilis don't do this. (Recently my darkest BV don't do this either, but that's another story. heh)

    What valves did you use for adding water, and what size line are they tapped into?

    I figured I could use a loc-line like that, add a flare at the end, and literally vacuum the bare bottom fish tanks by siphon. I can only find a flare 2.5" wide for 1/2" though. I was hoping on a 5" wide flare, but no go.

    Nothing wrong with a pair of wilds, dude. I just want fish collectors in the field to be smart about getting them and not strip them all.
