Soothing Shrimp

Some shrimp do look similer, but different types. Case in point- crystal white bees (cards) and snowballs. (neos)

In this case, YKK is actually taitibee that have been selectively bred for yellow.  Cross these with cards and different phenotypes show up.

Main difference is that YKK are Cards and Neons are Neos. ;-)

As for Nadia, she just went to her latest meet last weekend. I'm happy to say she received a medal for bars!  (Also all around.)  That meant a lot for her because level 3 has been very challenging.  Her recent scores were:

This is a plant not seen very often and I received mine from someone who imported this plant from Germany.

- A fast grower, it can be grown as a stem plant or floater. 

- Eats Nit. fast!

- The leaves are long and saw toothed. 

- High light turns the top leaves reddish.  Low light stays green.

- Needs no CO2 or ferts

I originally paid $12 for (3) 2" stems.... I'm tearing down the tank, so you just pay $12 for what is roughly covering the bottom half of a tenner.
