  1. I love skeletons. You occasionally see them for sale, but not too often.
  2. Thanks. If everything works out okay, I should have Angel here Wed.
  3. Leftovers allow fungus and bacteria to grow as food which is good for babies and adults alike.
  4. Massive, you are creating a new strain. They won't be dream blues anymore except in phenotype.
  5. Well, if you want it to be a display, you can leave as much room as you want and have a hinged board in front to hide any view of space.
  6. The long tanks have a good footprint for shrimp walking area. What I didn't like was the amount of evaporation from such a large surface exposed.
  7. Just a short blurb and pic. http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/weird/Maine-Wholesaler-Acquires-Rare-4-Clawed-Lobster-371719201.html?_osource=SocialFlowFB_PHBrand
  8. Here ya go. http://www.shrimpspot.com/index.php?/topic/220-names-and-faces/
  9. My goyle that is coming in looks like a statue, So, I'm naming her Angel in honor of Dr. Who's Weeping Angels.
  10. So I got the large All Access Organizer in yesterday. Bigger than what I thought. It should hold 3-5 goyles easily. It is very roughly 15" tall, 20" wide, and 17" deep. I say roughly because it tapers a little from the top to the bottom. Here's the link for the "cage" http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BEUDXHW?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00 --- Today I used a soldering iron to cut two holes in the back and put in 2 black aluminum louvers. On the back they have tabs which you can bend back over the hole to hold them in place. It worked well, but if you have a 2" hole saw it would work much faster. I don't, so had to use what I had on hand. http://www.ventmyhouse.com/products/2%22-Round-Black-Aluminum-Louver-with-Insect-Screen-and-4-Aluminum-Tabs--%28Priced-Per-Bag-of-6%29.--Item%23--2%22-RBLT%252d100.html The front window slides up and then you can drop it forward. To replace it, you put it up and slide it down again. I don't need the geckos pushing up on the lightweight window and accidentally having it open, so I used a window screen clip with a wide thumbhold to secure it. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FMYPEGY?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00 To "unlock" twist to the side. To "lock," just twist it down. I chose white so I could see the lock easily.
  11. Yep. Cresties are appreciated for their color on the body.
  12. Fishface, what are you feeding? Yours looks so much plumper than mine!
  13. I can only answer for me. I think the first coloration I would have bred for is super red. The majority in low grade is red already, so that seems like the logical choice.
  14. A danger people often don't see is growing too large beyond resources.
  15. I've seen vids of people using this for shrimp/fish, but in my head I keep seeing all kinds of horrible things going wrong.
  16. Will either of these http://www.purewaterclub.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=112&products_id=418&osCsid=9ae1e0ff96761e786c6e3a3b4b039a21 http://www.purewaterclub.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=420 with this http://www.purewaterclub.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=106&products_id=290work?
  17. clarkii or alleni should be good with almost anything you throw at them. Do stay away from copper in the water as Wygglz wisely said though.
  18. Thanks for the intro! Welcome to the family!
  19. Maybe they are looking at your stubby tail as well. LOL (Always wanted to use that emoticon! LOL)
