  1. We all have to help each other,my friend!
  2. I wonder if the barometric pressure has been drastically different?
  3. Any hardware store will have 'em. Technically they are called snips. http://www.menards.com/main/search.html?search=Aviation+Snips http://www.homedepot.com/s/Aviation%2520Snips?NCNI-5
  4. This info may be useful for ya: http://www.shrimpspot.com/index.php?/topic/338-lowkeys-absorption-board/page-2#entry68655
  5. The board is made of zeolite and is fine in the tank.
  6. Use an aqualifter pump. Won't lift very high, but great for putting a container of water next to your tank, and starting it to let water slowly flow via airline. http://www.marinedepot.com/Tom_Aquatics_Aqua_Lifter_Dosing_Pump_Accessories_for_Aquarium_Overflow_Boxes-Tom_Aquatics-OE1137-FIOFOA-vi.html
  7. I've used this kind for thicker metal before:
  8. Zeolite does. I *think* Purigen does too since it absorbs impurities.
  9. Who knows? He may have good shrimp, but that statement sounds as if he can use it to get out of anything...
  10. Sure thing. I didn't know how thick it was. heh I've used scissors on SS screening before, but that's very thin.
  11. I think wilds have a beauty all their own. However if they continue to breed with neos in your tank, you'll screw up the different strains.
  12. Oh boy, are you in trouble. One tank leads to another leads to another.... LOL Welcome to our insanity!
  13. Does anyone here own any corals at the moment? If so, what ones?
  14. The reviews are mixed at amazon. The description says it contains an absorbing resin, and needs replaced every 2 months. Sounds similar to zeolite or purigen to me, but not able to be recharged.
  15. Depends how thick it is. Metal Shears or scissors will work for different thicknesses.
  16. He has good feedback it looks like. His statement: "Do not bid if your weather is below 70 degrees or above 90 degrees or I will not guarantee your shrimp will arrive alive." Makes me concerned.
  17. Well, the RR I bought from AlphaPro don't have the thick pigmentation or clear body genetics I had hoped for. I gambled big money and lost this time. Perhaps their other shrimp are better? Anyway, two are berried now, so maybe I'll see what I can do with a new colony over time. (Doesn't mean that I won't buy the occasional shrimp supplies from them though. heh)
  18. $6 for low grade red cherries is not a good deal as you said. For unique colored or high quality neo strains, $6 is not that bad. heh Crackhead, check out our marketplace for sellers. Shipping is not that big of a risk if you have someone who has done it before and knows what they are doing.
