Used to keep green baubaltis not too long ago. I think they are a very underrated shrimp that are just a beautiful as any other shrimps. For some reason they just never got off like the other shrimps. Sorry for going off topic a little lol

I think its a hit or miss with any type of food. Ive used snowflakes and my shrimp never swarm the flakes but in one tank they do. Same goes for other foods. One tank likes this and dont like that and etc. In my opinion, I think if starved them 1-2 days they will swarm any type of food. Again just my opinion.

Sieryu stones is a bag idea for a shrimp tank. Raises tds and gh. Should choose a different type of rock

From what ive been seeing from other people on the internet. Their greens are popping from what looks to be blue velvets. Ive heard of yellows throwing out greens also but no crossing of BxY before.

I thought blue velvets come from the red rili line/blue rili? I may be wrong. All these shrimp genectics are confusing lol

Ive bought shrimps (goldenback neos) from Soshrimp before. Pretty good stock and service was great ime. I would recommend Soshrimp.does anyone have any opinions about Soshrimp on Ebay and Amazon and whatnot? I'm trying to determine if i should buy from them. They seem to have loads of positive reviews but you know how that works.

BM do not have a grading scale as of now due to their inconsistency of different shades of reds. From what i notice from my BM colony is they tend to color up late as juvies to adult. What may look like a lightly colored BM may in fact turn to a very decent BM in my experience.

Yup pretty much. Never saw that same orange shrimp after month or so. So i assumed it either died or molted back to normal lolGreat, so if he molts and goes back to normal I'll never know if that's what happened or if he met his demise.

Looks like a bad molt. One time i had an orange sakura who had a bad molt and looked like that. Lol

They breed true as in red colored shrimps but never the same shade of red. 50/50 is a safe estimation IMO.

I actually got these shrimps from Shrimpscales. From what he told me. He crossed Golden x Wine Red to get them and from there he breed them for a year or so.those red bolts are super nice! Are they from taitibee?

BV comes from the red rili line. When I used to keep BVs, the shrimplets would look like red rilis but eventually the red areas would go away and the shrimp starts turning more blue by the weeks or days.
