Yes, he has a nice stuff for sale. I rave about his aura tibees a lot because I love mine so much. I have two batches of babies growing up, and the variation among them makes them so unique. A good portion of the babies are red, and I'm thinking of moving the red males in with my TBs.

I have some, and they are very nice shrimp. I contacted the seller directly, and he let me buy a smaller group of 8 for $2 each, and he even lowered the shipping to $10 because I lived so close to him. I keep the females with my blue bolts, and they've made mischlings for me. They are the first caridinas that I've ever bred.

the SL-Aqua Nature Soil will drop the PH of your RO water to around 6. Your KH will remain about 0-1, and you'll use the Blue Wizard to get the GH/TDS you desire!

pH probes work by quickly binding and debinding protons as the water passes by. If the water is moving, it will read out at a slightly lower pH. It makes sense why this would happen when you turn the filter on.

Setting up for a TB tank you might want to do a few things to ensure a successful tank. 
 
1. Upgrade substrate from eco-complete to active soil. Anything like SL-Aqua, ADA, ContraSoil.. etc 
       -This step will ensure a stable PH. Simply switching to RO water does not ensure your PH will not bounce up an down. 
 
2. Switch to RO water and make sure you buy a remineralizer like Salty Shrimp GH+. Plain RO water will not meet the requirements shrimp need. Roughly TDS of 100-150 and Gh 5 is what you should aim for.
 
What I would keep is the filters going till you make the change. This way the cycle process will go much faster.

What parameter are you keeping them in?

Forum members have been asking me for shrimps videos.Plan was to make them early this year but busy schedule and some photo gear problem delayed the project.
Now after finding the right video camera and enough free time I'm ready to post couple of videos.
Will start with video showing 4 year project  of High Grade Blue Bolts and Panda Mosura.
I'll try to add new video at least once a week.Probably to be easy to find them I'll post them all in this first post.

I primarily use CSF and Aqua Eden as my main food source. Both foods holds up great and you can control food portions better. One of the main reason why you have to deal with worms and planaria is due to overfeeding. I've noticed that people who use powdered products like Bacter AE tends to overfeed. I was one of them when I first started out because Bacter's instructions have you use an insane amount.
 I would get rid of the worms/planaria with some dog de-wormer and decrease feedings.
