Very big potential in this project.I have some berried F1 TT/BKK and TT/WR too. Hopefully fathers were Taiwan shrimps.I did my best to remove all male tigers.
There was something similar in shrimpsnow forum 2 year ago.They call it star shrimp or something like that .

Happy to report I now have 4 berried TB and 1 berried mischling in my 20L TB tank. Here's is a full tank shot of my 20L which I took today.

Yes soothing, I just learned that term, it's the Operculum sometimes called the trap door. When the snail hides in his shell, the door so to speak.

Eozen81 I've always wondered what that disk was on the snail. I've only seen a couple of discarded ones in the tank since I've had them so not very common. Don't know why they come off.

The tank is doing well. The PFR are breeding like crazy. The cardinals are always grazing but no berries yet. No rabbit snail babies yet either. I have to clear out hair algae once in awhile. The tank survived a 10hr power outage. Couldn't find my battery pump but at least I had put in an oxidator the week before.

Filled up my Mr Aqua 17.1 today for my first Sulawesi tank. 24x12x14. My intention is to have a variety of shrimp and snails using Salty7.5.
This is what I've done so far:
-applied frosted glass tint to the rear glass
-painted the bottom with black acrylic paint marker
-cut glass for partial bare bottom. This was my first time cutting glass I got from Home Depot. Hard to cut exactly so first cut was hair to long, 2nd was little short so had to use extra silicone to fill in gap.
-substrate is Eco-complete planted, because I like the look of little lava rocks and its inert
- light is 24" finnex
-sponge filter for now. Debating on adding canister or hob
-added large lava rocks I had on hand but thinking of using dragon stone instead for more of a mountain scape.
-added subwassertang to lower area for some greenery. Looking for more plant ideas.
Water param using salty 7.5 and RO: ~7.4ph. 8gh 195TDS. Temp 80deg
Not sure if I need to add some aragonite to help ph
The substrate actually said on The bag not top with argonite, not sure why
The substrate had beneficial bacteria fluid in it so might start adding rabbit snails next week. Maybe cardinals after the holidays.

A couple of weeks ago I found a berried wine red. Yesterday the female mischling became berried. Today the panda is berried. I'm gonna go buy a lottery ticket tonight!

This tank I have dedicated to only using SD products.
I started off cycling a 10 gallon tank over 7 weeks ago using the Shrimp Daddy method of cycling and ADA Amazonia substrate. I used tap water for the first week of the cycle and then switched to RO after. I stuck to the regime as close as possible. OK,  I did go on a fishing trip for a few days which at that time the tank was left alone. Sorry WIlson! I have to fish. It's in my blood. lol! The tank was finished cycling on week 6. It may have been done sooner since I was told that my Revive Vita may have started to expire. Anyways today I added some crs which I had been keeping in my 12g tank. I have more crs in another 10g tank which I'll be comparing these ones to. Hopefully the SD products will The timing was perfect since my substrate in the 12g has expired. I also noticed after adding the crs that one of them was berried. Hopefully the babies will make it. Here are my current parameters

Got all the mud done just leting it dry so I can sand and then paint! Then build some stands. I bought two more 55gs and another 40g. Also this is what all the tanks in the fish room look like right now so hard to feed them luckily I got a 6 foot 4 inch arm span.

I found this today. This has to be one of the coolest looking shrimp I've ever seen in one of my tanks.
