The buce clump looks awesome Andy!

I managed to seperate some taitibees yesterday and today. I placed the ones with the snowflake patterns into tank #6. Today I added a tester shrimp into tank #5. In this tank I'm planning on putting the ones with the nicest red colors in. Tank #4 is also done cycling as of today. I just need to adjust the parameters.

Seems plenty bright for any moss, buce and anubias. I guess it would depend on what plants you are keeping.

The biggest mistake I made when starting out was overfeeding. That is the number one reason for shrimp deaths. Unless you have a large colony 50+ shrimp they do not need to be fed more than once or maybe twice a week. Always include leaf litter and adding Bacter AE once a week helps to keep biofilm available.

I was wondering about the water.  That solves that mystery.  I wanted to read up on if there were any beneficial bacteria in the water column so I got it just incase, but it appears they're all on the filter floss, driftwood, plants, and gravel. Just like "live" rock for reefs.  Thanks Rye!  I'll just fill it up with fresh remineralized DI.
