  1. I have like 3-4 shrimp now from initially having around 20. Found another dead shrimp today, mid molt. I think I'm done keeping shrimp if the remaining 3-4 die too.
  2. Will check today again when I can, my shrimp are still not back to normal and it's been like two weeks since I posted this.
  3. My tank is super cloudy today, I did a waterchange since I had High ammonia readings and no nitrate/nitrite readings at all. After adding in the new water the tank had gotten super duper cloudy. Weirdly though? My shrimp are going back to acting normal and swimming around ground level? I really don'ot get them. I've dosed prime and Stability to help with the aquarium? It looks like a mini cycle to me at this point. Any advice is helpful.
  4. They have been breeding, but since this crash or whatever it is happened three days ago, I've lost basically all my berried females. My shrimp are still hanging up at the top of the tank/near the surface like they don't want to get into the water at all.
  5. I've had the shrimp in it for 3 years. So it was an established tank at one point? I guess. Or it still is and this is a crash?
  6. PH: 7.2 Ammonia: 0-0.25 Nitrite: 0 Nitrate: 0 GH: 25 KH: 5 I've been dosing prime and stability to help my shrimp but I've lost a little more than half.
  7. Added some new plants after I washed them and did a tiny water change so I could siphon debris/food from the disturbed substrate, most of my cherry shrimp are grouped up near the top corner of my tank, some are climbing out above the water line. I've foudn one dead so far, did I do bad for messing with the substrate to plant my new plants? What can i do about my grouped up shrimp?
  8. I' mstarting to worry again, they are getting too close to comfort in one little huddle and it looks really strange, I tested my ammonia and it's showing 1.0ppm. Maybe that is the cuase, I've started to do a water change and dose prime to lower ammonia, dont know how often i can do this as I don't wanna stress them out.
  9. I have the original foam sponge block that comes with the tank, and I also have another block sitting ontop of it to block shrimps from going into the slots! Okay! I just never had shrimp do this before! They would all gather onto the wall but still be grazing on it.
  10. I'm noticing when I do a small water change and dose prime they tend to like to crawl all over my filter wall.
  11. They all started acting normal and started grazing normally a couple hours later. I have a solid foam block in the intake so they can't go inside.
  12. Just tried acclimating shrimps to my fluval spec v, a majority of them are grouped together near the filter intake and it looks like they aren't doing much. A few others are just swimming around. Kind of worried by their behavior.
  13. I live in garden grove, do you still have any available ?
  14. Problem was a contaminated container/bucket I used to store the new water to be replaced I was told it was used to hold chemicals. I've since used a different cleaner bucket to replace the water and the shrimp are no longer huddled or dying. I had a few deaths tho before I did a new water change. Makes me quite sad but I hope my colony can bounce back. Lost one of my biggest/reddest shrimps to this.
  15. I don't have a TDS test and don't know if i should put them in a bucket with conditioned water or let them stay in what they are now. All of my biggest shrimps are start to swim around but occasionally fall on their side and get back up.
