OK. I bought the 2W and the 3.5W clamp on led lights both for 6.49 shipped.I had some ebay bucks left. I'll be trying them out on a 3g and 5 g.

I got my lexan at tap plastics. They'll cut it to any dimensions you like.

There are some cheap clamp style led lights that will help keep the light off the water level and growing algae. Most of my pics I don't use a flash. I just use the aquarium lights. I do have a trigger flash that I need to figure out how to mount for my tb tank.

I just bought 1/4" lexan. They do not warp. Acrylic will warp. Also my lights are almost 7" above the covers.

You can find a D80 or something similar on ebay for around 100 bucks. Save your money for a good lens. My lens is considered a cheapo in the world of macro lenses.

Hey Shrimp Spot people, As some of you know I have an extensive collection of rare mosses from around the world. Yes! It is an insidious disease! I would like to share some of these mosses with you.
