Shaun
Hi all. I would like to know if you will be able to keep crawfish crab shrimp and snails in a planted tank and all of them living together. I know it is a tall order cause as far as I know most craw are predacious and only some crabs is herbivorous all of them being territorial also what fish will you be able to keep in such a tank if any at all? Thanks in advance. Regards: Shaun

Shaun
O.k so after a quick search I found a possible local source for craws.the pics are just really very small so will not be able to post. The question however is the following:judging from the pics they are dwarf craws about 1-1.2 in long.three different varieties.I now kno that to keep them with shrimp and snails is a definate no-no.however will they be safe with red cherry barbs, black neons and plants? ctaylor3737
Yea I used to have a few, I have been wanting to get into another tank with them in there. Will be possible now that I am slowly getting into different fish again. The best thing I love about even like angels is the ability to get other fish that are not for breeding just look good in the tank!

chibikaie
At US$10 each I'd give them their own tank! They go for $25-35 near me. I've always wanted a white one.

mnemenoi
I have seen someone keep a red claw macro colony and rcs colony together without the red claw decimating the latter
countryboy12484
If it was a big enough tank with a large colony of shrimp and only a few crays it might work.... I mean sure youll loose shrimp but I dont think they would decimate the colony. .. ya know the circle if life and such lol.
Shaun
LOL don't want them to decimate my wallet though heheheh

Bananariot
Ive put CPOs and Dwarf Crays with my shrimp....I find the females are nicer.........but even still they nipped at shrimp. Hehe males like climb to the top of my driftwood and jump off trying to pinch anything in their descent. It's actually quite funny lol.
