countryboy12484
Do they have a larval stage? If so how do ya care for the larva?
RyeGuy411
I bred gost shrimp. They do have a larval stage I found that if you have a well established aquarium without predators you will still end up with some live shrimp even without specifically trying to feed them. I had three berried females around 20 eggs each hatched . Ended up with 10 shrimp that actually made it they are about 1/4-3/8". I wasnt trying to breed them so it was fine so few made it. aquariumlover10
Yup, they are easy to bred in a planted established tank like said above, I am planning on feeding normal bloodworms(I feed the juice from them, like when u put water in with the worms to thaw them and it gets a red juice stuff it works great for larval and such, and green water. I need suggestion on the ugf and sub.
aquariumlover10
I like the look of Ada, but don't need a huge bag, not sure if they come in a small package, also since it leaks ammonia where would I keep my shrimp?
RyeGuy411
ADA is very exspensive because of the shipping cost. And yes it will leech amonia for quite a while. I would go with flourite or black sand much cheaper no amonia leech.
aquariumlover10
Ok, umm so I was cleaning poo out of the tank, and I found a dead shrimp, and it was saddled:'( so I tested water and did a pwc, the stuff looked relatively well, do u think it was from ph? Mine is 7.8 or so, I have some catappa tea bags I can put in if needed.
RyeGuy411
What is relatively well? As long as amonia and nitrites are zero you should be fine there. Are you still using the air tubing with the wad of foam around it for a filter?
