Shortfin
Sweet! I had recently "upgraded" from a D90 within the year and am really liking it. I use the Kenko auto extension tube set DG. Can't really say how it works with auto though, as I use focus manually. -Duffy When I had the extension tube, I use it with a 50mm 1.8 lens, auto focus first then switch to manual. My collection is a N80QD (door shell clip broken recently), D40, and D7k. Right now I'm using an old 28-105 lens with a macro 2:1 feature for shrimp pics. Still need to get the SB-700 flash and a macro lens.

I went with a cheaper flash and it works great, but definitely want to upgrade it sometime. -Duffy

mayphly
I know it's not the greatest picture. But, this shrimp sure likes to move around alot. This blue Sulawesi cardinal has devolped a stripe down it's back. The stripe wasn't there last week. It's also possible this is a different shrimp. I can''t be 100% sure. This is the shrimp from last week The others are from today. Steve R., Shrimpie, ANBU and 1 other

I should be doing from the top or angling it different, Just been too lazy to figure out how to do so. mayphly

mayphly
Very low 10W lighting in 10g tank. That moss is caloglossa which was cooked by ferts from another tank in an experiment that went wrong. It's actually dying in the pic. Thats why the shrimp are eating it. The next day it was gone. Too bad it doesn't stay that color.

woopderson
Hi Green, When I purchased them originally from Randy, we thought they were just plain CRS. But they have been breeding true for over a year now, throwing no real variations. I have also not had any goldens come out of there. After discussing with Randy we concluded that the line is pure. I have yet to start culling, but for the most part they are s/ss grade. The SSS MK-Breed you see in the pic above is one that I had won in the competition Randy held last year. Now that she is pregnant I think it is time to cull, and turn the tank into an SSS PRL tank. Woopderson is that a mix of different PRL's?
