mayphly
I received these guys a few months ago as "cheetahs". They were home bred but, appear to be some wild type of shrimp. They look similar to a type of breviata which is pictured on page 82 in "Wildshrimp China Special" magazine. However, this one has a longer rostrum than the one pictured in the book. Found this guy last night Others wild type with some yellow, orange, blue or black/silver hue are popping too in this tank. This tank was my first tank from where I basically learn by making a lot of mistakes. Currently it is housing different colored neocaridina (blue velvet, carbon rili, some bright orange almost red looking shrimp and 1 wild type with a green hue) and some caridinas (1blue bolt, 1shadow panda, 1 black king kong and 1 black king kong, extreme). I have see both neos and caridinas females berried and now I am not sure how to id the shrimplets! Here are some pictures of the shrimps and shrimplets from this tank!
