Soothing Shrimp
Fire reds will help eliminate the "ear holes" on rilis. I've done it myself with good success.
stonedaquarium
Jaden, Just a quick update i moved 15 fire reds to my rili tank. And 2 of them got berried. Looks like they preferred my rili tank better. No sign of bacterial infection... looks like i might tear down my fire red tank of death and do a reset or simply use that 5 gal tank for a shrimplet growout before moving them to mt colony and i guess serves as a culling tank Soothing Shrimp, pictokid1983, stonedaquarium and 1 other

stonedaquarium
Hopefully buddy... hopefully... just thought i share this stuff... spoke to a buddy of mine and he said that thru his experience u can possibly house fire reds and rilis in the same tank and get an f1 of 80 rilis and 15 red cherries and possibly 5 fire reds. The fire red genes would help deepen the red of rilis but then if you get the fire red f1 and breed with with a anothet fire red. U could end up with some rilis in the next f2. Interesting Jadenlea
Soothing Shrimp
Seems there's at least two rili genes floating around. One appears to be dominant and the other recessive. It will be interesting to see which you have.
