TheGardenofEder
Just got 4 tanks cycled and ready for shrimp. I'll have another 4 done today. Sadly these are all low pH tanks and I'm in desprit need of neo and tiger tanks. Petco needs to have their sale asap. So many colonys are ready to be split so I can start running double tanks of every shrimp type. My goal is to have 3 tanks of every type going by this time next year. TheGardenofEder
Went to a reptile expo today and came home with 4 red iguanas and a gfp (green) axolotl. Stopped at one of my favorite fish stores on the way home and got 3 damsels, a star fish, and 5 coral frags for my 20gallon sw tank. TheGardenofEder
Before I got into aquatics the way I am I was breeding reptiles. I mainly focused on chameleons, I brews Jackson's and veileds, also worked with panthers and mellers. I bred leopard geckos, and worked with bearded dragons and panther geckos. I was spending 2 hours a day taking care of crickets alone. I had 42 adult reptiles and anywhere from 30 to 60 baby's at at time. TheGardenofEder
The Frame for the 190 gallon is done, I'm thinking it may end up being a shrimp tank and use the 75 gallon as a sump but maybe I'll put discus down there instead. TheGardenofEder
I've been on total project mode recently and haven't had time to take some photos of my shrimp so while the paint was drying yesterday I decided to feed some tanks. I've recently began separating shrimp and stocking my orange Tibee tank. I'm slowly removing the CBS and black tibees out of my red tibee tank and into my 55 gallon tibee which I'm going to make a black tibee tank. I may make the bottom 55 gallon a tb tank. But at the moment I have a 20 gallon just for tbs. Vpier and svetilda

fernselvis
finally got mu lights in today for my 20g tb tank just in time to set up the new rack. It's dry so I'm going to start draining water and moving tanks now. How does this half tank setup work. Are the sponge filter enough to handle the bio load. How many shrimps and snails approx
fernselvis
Wow.....lovely inspiring read. Has inspired me decide to start my own journal. Ofcourse with a lot of questions to you guys? But it will be fun. Thnx keep up the good work and wish you all the best. Elvis Sent from Tapatalk TheGardenofEder
TheGardenofEder
Elvis that tank is fine but was a pain to keep the bottom clean so I ended up throwing some substrate on the barebottom section. Not many snails maybe 10. About 20 adults and around 100 babys. The sponge filters do a great job.
TheGardenofEder
Got a 40 gallon rack built and there is a current photo of that 20 gallon bare bottom build.
TheGardenofEder
The stands in the fish room are all done. Wish my filters would have come in the mail yesterday. Today I think I'm going to take a break from building but tomorrow I'll jump right back in. Need to get glass cut for the 75 gallon sump, need to cut woof and put together another grow bed for my pond, and of course set up the 42 tanks going into the fish room.
