Duff0712
I am going to be setting up a 38g tank soon and will be using brightwell cafe or escuro. Will be doing ro and I have salty shrimp already for my other tanks. I want this tank to be bee shrimp and add some micro fish to it as well. I'll get ph appropriate fish of course, but was wondering if ro and salty shrimp will be sufficient for fish Edito: fish would include Pygmy cories, CPD and micro rasboras, scarlet badis. Should have posted this in fish. Sorry!! -Duffy
JamesHe
Normally I just keep my fish in tap water. Unless you want to breed them.
JamesHe
I only keep my Altum in RO water, with some crashed coral in filter. So I don't adjust GH by any chemicals.
Soothing Shrimp
I use gh+ for my fish with no problems. Duff0712

RyeGuy411
I have two wild green tetras and a chili rasbora in my TB tank that uses SS gH+ and they are fine, seem to have no problems with the low pH either (6.2-6.4). Duff0712
Im too paranoid for any fish near my tb tank lol With the green neons and chili rasboras I could see them picking off some babies, but the adult shrimp would be bigger than the fish. -Duffy ctaylor3737
