RyeGuy411
Dr Fosters and Smith sells cycling amonia. I personally use Amonia from the grocery store cleaning aisle and it has worked very well for me to cycle three tanks. The only drawback I have been told about the cleaning aisle amonia is be very careful that it is pure with no other chemicals in it and the strength of the amonia is unknown. TheGardenofEder
Why are you adding ammonia to your tank? I thought the purpose was to cycle the ammonia out
RyeGuy411
I got mine at my local grocery store in a small bottle it has no additives. Its dirt cheap I looked at ACE hardware and all they carried locally was a lemon scented amonia, not good.
RyeGuy411
You add amonia to a tank to cycle it without live stock, cycles faster and no torture of innocent animals.
Soothing Shrimp
You don't want scents or detergent added. You want pure.
