OMG Aquatics
For those of you who purchased this, was it easy to attach it to your filter? Either I purchased wrong size or I'm doing something wrong. I bought 13mm for Toms Rapid Mini and I'm literally forcing it in to the point where the middle is starting to bend. Something wrong or am I suppose to force it in? SurraGync, CiaraHono and CharlesWex
OMG Aquatics
Welp. One thing i noticed differently was the open end. http://www.hanaquatics.com/ss-filter-guard/ Maybe that's why I'm having trouble?
forumsnow
Run it under hot water, the rubber will soften and should slide on. I cant remeber what the opening looked like on mine, i know he makes them all by hand. OMG Aquatics

OMG Aquatics
What happened?? It looked like it unfolded? Not sure. I followed instructions. I boiled hot water, dropped the guard in the container. Poured hot water and twirled it around a few times. How do I fold them back in? Oceangirl
Are you pushing it in the closed end or the open end? It should slide with slight resistance.
OMG Aquatics
Boiling water made it loose in about 3 seconds and it just slipped right into the tube. All fixed Thanks for offering replacement but it's not needed Pika

neilshieh
LOL this was very amusing to read through. Han's filter guards are the best! the slide on very easily and then you kind of push a bit for a tight fit at the end. cleaning just involves taking it off and brushing it with a toothbrush in some tank water and it's good as new! h4n and Soothing Shrimp
