mayphly
Although this video deals with more terrestrial types of moss, I still found it very interesting and learned something new. Ch3fb0yrdee
I love watching Japanology. I think the host (guy) is a bit strange but the information provided by the show is pretty neat. [emoji1] ANBU
mayphly
I've been watching random episodes on and off all day. The aquarium episode is also pretty cool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk ANBU
Ch3fb0yrdee
I wonder if it's possible to contact the producers to develop an episode exploring the trend of "shrimp keeping" in Japan. They have episodes on Kobe beef and Nishiki Koi so it'll be cool to have an episode exploring shrimp keeping. It'll help shine light on our niche hobby and help us expand to a wider audience. mayphly
I posted a request on NHK's Begin Japanology FB page to do an episode about ornamental shrimp breeding in Japan. Keep your fingers crossed. Soothing Shrimp and RyeGuy411
Ch3fb0yrdee
Nice! It'll be a dream come true if they do decide to make an episode on shrimp keeping. [emoji1]
Beren.Luthien
I am really into terrariums (ornamental) so it was interesting but a lot of the garden imagery they used was inspiring for aquascaping. The koi video was cool too.....if you actually get them to make a shrimp video you seriously deserve a prize...lol! mayphly
Soothing Shrimp
Beren, have you checked out Han's Site? It's run by Han (H4N), a member here, and he has some nice plants to get you started in aquascaping if desired.
Beren.Luthien
I actually have way too many plants in the cart from Han right now! Haha. I am so excited to order. I have started aquascaping and I made a slate stone /crypt tank with some dwarf hair grass for Neos that I call "Shrimp Mountain" lol I will have to post it.... I'm not a pro but it does look pretty cool! I'm excited to order from Han to get some different plants.
Soothing Shrimp
I'm not an aquascaper myself, but I love to see what people have done.
