jumpsmasher
SKA Pure Red Line Entry Grade We been working on our own SKA Pure Red Line (PRL) line for the past two years. We started with some Nishiki-Ebi JPRL as well as some of MananaP's Red Leg PRL. These ones are essentially the culls from our higher grade breeders but still have very solid shell / color we remove any that not very solid. You can use these entry level PRL to improve the colors of your existing Crystal Red Shrimps or start your own line. As they been line breed for many generations, they tend to be more sensitive than more CRS - We would only recommend these if you have some experience with raising normal CRS / CBS. Parameters These are raised in 100% RO/DI water remineralized with Salty Shrimp GH+. I also use ADA Amazonia / Africana as my substrate in my PRL tanks.PH: 5.4 - 6.2GH: 3-6 KH: 0-1 TDS: ~140 ppm Temp: 24 C Golden Bee / Snow White Shrimps Golden Bee / Snow White Shrimps are essentially white version of Crystal Red Shrimps and will require the same parameters. We have several generation of these; all have a born and raised within our tanks. Some are offsprings from our Mosura / Flowerhead line breeding projects and have very nice solid white shells

jumpsmasher
We just got in a bunch shrimps including a few lesser known Caridina Babaulti varieties from India. Fire Red Shrimps (restock) Green Babaulti Shrimps (restock)Black / Brown Babaulti ShrimpsIndian Zebra Shrimps (Striped Babaulti)Ninja ShrimpsBlue Bee ShrimpsTangerine Tiger Shrimps They are all currently undergoing quarantine and should be ready to go within a week or so! Caridina Babaulti Shrimps I always been a fan of wild type shrimps and the Caridina Babaulti complex has been around in the hobby for a very long time. They quite hardy (almost as hardy as neo's) but never really caught on as they are not as colourful as neo's or bee shrimps. But unlike the various coloured neo types, you can keep them together with neo and bee shrimps without worry about them interbreeding with either one. Babaulti shrimps are also neat because they can change their colour based on their mood or to blend in with their background. They also tend to be a bit more shy than most neo's or bee shrimps as they to like to hide amongst the plants and driftwood. They will breed in freshwater and generally have much bigger batches but small eggs compared to neo's or bee shrimps. As such newborn babaulti shrimplets are smaller and will take a while to mature. I received some large adults with this shipment, with some females green babaulti shrimp close to 3cm or ever over. There is a chance that some of are in fact "Dark Green" or "Neon Green" shrimps which is a separate species from the same region Indian Zebra ShrimpsThese guys tend to stand smaller than the other babaulti shrimps but I also find they are more active and less shy. They have black/brown vertical bands across their either body. Most of are clear but some may have brownish bodies. Ninja Shrimp A shy species that is rarely out in the open. Body colour range from red to black with white bands. Like Babaulti shrimps, will change their colour to blend in with their surroundings. Require brackish water to breed. ohmiko
jumpsmasher
Sorry for the lack of updates - we been busy expanding our operations and now will be starting to stock more snails, crayfish and plants in addition to our shrimps some highlight from our recent additions Cherax pulcher sp 'Hoa Creek' The recently classified Cherax species from Indonesia is one of the most stunning and colorful crayfish species. The Carapace and parts of the abdomen are bright pink color to purple. The claws is an intense blue with a white patch on the side and black tips. Hoa Creek are a relatively peaceful crayfish and will leave most shrimps and small, surface dwelling fish alone. While not as territorial as other crayfish, they still need plenty of hiding spots and other areas where they can retreat to. They are great diggers and will dig their own holes under rocks and other structures. They will uproot most plants in the process so they are not suited for planted tanks. Temperature: 20° - 28° C Hardness: > 5 ° dGH Ph: 6.5 - 8.5 Size: Hoa creek are a medium size crayfish, reaching sizes up to 5" or more. Sexing: Usually males have a transparent patch or "bubble" on the outside of the claws but not always the case. Otherwise can be sex the standard way when it comes to Cherax; Females will have gonospores which on the 3rd pair of legs will males have them on the 5th pair of legs Food: Omnivorous, prefer plant / vegetable based foods. We feed our with Shrimp King Peas & green loops, fresh baby spinach, and regular stable food. They love eating Indian almond leaves as well! Recommended Tank Size: 90cm for a pair, 120cm for 2 pairs or more - make sure each individual have their own cave / retreat. As with all crayfish, aquarium will need to be well covered. DO NOT MIX with North American crayfish in the same tank! Cherax species like Hoa Creek are very susceptible to the crayfish plague that north american species are a carrier for. Even if you keep them in separate tanks, do not mix equipment between tanks
jumpsmasher
Sun (Horned Nerite) Snails One of our favourite type of Horned Nerite snails. They stay small, don't reproduce in freshwater and and won't touch your plants. They are one of the best algae eaters for hard algae and mineral deposits on the glass and other hard surfaces. Sun snails have two distinct patterns on their shells; on one side they have a textured olive green / grey pattern (like that of an elephant trunk) and on the other side the pattern spiral towards an apex with recessed yellow "rays". The "horns" rises up along the perimeter of these two patterns As with most snails, they require neutral to high pH.

Mixed band means the pattern could be any one of the following "band-type" patterns: 4-band, 3-band, tiger tooth, v-band or any combination involving those patterns;

WIll take some photos once i get back from my short road trip this weekend but high are basically Super CRS with almost 100% red coverage except for a a bit of white on the nose and tail (think Extreme BKK)
jumpsmasher
price list updated! and here are some new photos : ) Low Grade (B/C) Crystal Red Shrimps Low grade CRS have be very hard to find recently - most asia suppliers only stock A/S grade or higher (3-4 bands). We been looking for these for a very long time! These come from Germany where they been raised in tap water so they have adapted to higher PH levels. We currently have those in our neocaridina tanks with Calgary tap water NADAL Aura Blue x Pinto Mischlings These are Aura Blue x Pinto hybrids. Most have the speckled blue heads with clear / white bodies with hints of a tiger pattern while other have a pale white body. You can further develop them by crossing back with aura blue and/or pinto shrimps. NADAL Super Black Crystal Shrimps (Low/Mid Grade) Super CBS are crystal black shrimps that have been selectively breed to increase their black coverage. Low / mid grade Super CBS usually have 2-3 white bands. Kept in standard bee shrimps parameters. NADAL Super Red Crystal Shrimps (High Grade) Super CRS are crystal Red shrimps that have been selectively breed to increase their red coverage. High grade Super CRS are almost completely red except for a bit of white on their nose / front of their head and tail. Kept in standard bee shrimps parameters
jumpsmasher
Crystal White Shrimps Crystal White Shrimps are bee shrimps with a clear body and white stripes. Still relatively new to the hobby and quite rare. Kept in standard bee shrimps parameters NADAL Blue Bee Shrimps Blue bee shrimps are a wild type paracardina bee shrimp with a brownish-blue body and several white strips. Males tend to be more clear in color compared to the females. Colour is generally not very consistent and depends on their mood and stress levels. These ones in particular have selectively bred (rather than wild caught) and have very solid white strips; more so than their wild counterpart. Kept in bee shrimp parameters Wild / Super Tiger Shrimps These are wild caught tiger shrimps that come from a specific locale in southern China. Appearance wise, most have a bit of yellow in their tail and nose and red colouration at the base of their antennae. They require clean water and lower temperatures - similar parameters as Orange Eye Blue tigers however they can be kept in lower ph as well. Blue Dream Neocaridinas These are blue neocaridinas and considered one of the top "grades" of the two development paths of blue neo's along with Blue Diamond. Blue dream comes from blue velvet which in turn came from blue rilli's. They have a medium to deep blue translucent body. Some may have a bit of black on their head. jumpsmasher
livestock list updated!lots of new stuff arrived over the past few weeks including some nice wild shrimps! Laos Mountain Tiger Shrimps These are a wild type tiger shrimp from Laos but ID on these are a bit of a mystery. Based on what we can tell they are very similar (or could be) what the Germans call "Tupfel Shrimps" aka the wild form of Tangerine Tigers & Aura Blue Tigers (Caridina Serrata). Others have suggest that these are C.cantonensis. Regardless they are a great looking wild type tiger shrimps with a clear bodies with a spotted tiger pattern - most are clear, while some have a reddish or light blue hue. Galaxy Tiger Shrimps Blue Velvet Neocaridinas (mixed grade) We got in just got in a shipment of mixed grade Blue Velvets; some are the standard (normal grade) blue velvets with a light blue colour while others have a medium to dark blue that is quite close to blue dream grade! Green Jade Neocaridinas Coming soon A couple of teaser shots of the two Pure Black Line we been working on for the last while what will be released soon... SKA Pure Black Line - Been working on these guys for the past couple years; they have nice thick shell and we got them to the point where most of the offsprings look very similar to their parents (no-entry pattern). SKA Japanese Black Bee Shrimps - These are F1's from the Benibachi Japanese Black Bee shrimps (the adults in the photos) we imported last year. This line is still very young and been throwing out a variety of different patterns including mosura
