monty703
So I saw this glass feeding tube setup in an LFS for shrimps. Decided to see if I could make my own. took a piece of firm tubing, cut it to fit just above the glass dish and above the water line. Punched a hole in the tube and fitted tightly a rubber cap to stick it to the side of the tank, and cut a V shape in the bottom of the tubing. You could also use the rubber straps that keep heaters attached to the side of the tanks. Walla.....homemade feeding tube that didn't cost me more than a $1 Should be good for feeding specific powdery food like Gravidas, Bio Plus etc...which gets everywhere and not necessarily where you want it to go. Here's a couple of pics...sorry its not terribly clear but I think you can figure out what I did. eozen81
OMG Aquatics
"Should be good for feeding specific powdery food like Gravidas, Bio Plus etc...which gets everywhere and not necessarily where you want it to go." I think the reason it's powdery is because mosura wants it to go everywhere. If they didn't, it would be in pellet/stick form.
TheGardenofEder
You got bare bottom as well I'd just use that as a feeding tray.

eozen81
Congrats monty, good idea. I use a plactic tube for this purpose but I don't tend to keep it all the time in my tank as it blocks my view

Soothing Shrimp
Well, to be fair, we talk on snails, crabs, crays and other inverts, too. And we do have a section for fish and plants, etc.
