ctaylor3737
Prices will depend on how the next couple of weeks go for losses but I am thinking ~$8-10/ea for the Cardinals and probably ~$12-15/ea for the other two species. Cardinals seem to be going for around $11-14/each on aquabid (for tank bred) and I haven't seen anyone selling the other two species anywhere (wc or tank bred) so I have no idea what a market price would be on them. I may put a few auctions on aquabid and see how they do to get an idea of what people are willing to pay. Thoughts? That's fair prices, cardinals I got were 8-10. Yellow cheeks are usually 12-13 depending on how hardy they are. They Are a little harder to breed. Not much more but they have smaller egg carries and babies are sensitive. -Chris

ctaylor3737
Sounds like fair prices. I'll have to check with you later in the year. I usually don't mind gambling on shrimp, but this year has been slim on the breeding, so haven't even met maintaining costs yet. I hear ya, I feel better though now I know my cardinals are breeding! Inspired me to dedicate a 20L to them iin my fish room. :-) -Chris

ctaylor3737
No species from these guy will breed. Been talks of trying to get them to but they haven't and a lot of people keep then together. -Chris
OblongShrimp
Yes the Yellow Cheeks do seem to have a lighter version and a darker version but I am not sure if it changes over time or is generic or what the cause is. So far their care has been pretty easy. I think the Salty Shrimp Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 is making it a lot easier this time compared to the last time I had them. I have been pretty rough of them so far I think and haven't had any problems so far. The brown camos I had to move to a different tank because their was leaking and didn't reacclimate them or anything (though over half the water was from their old tank and so was the substrate and filter).
