davesays
Shocking and sad indeed, he was way too young to go. Although I cannot afford all his products, he was truly a pioneer for the planted tank hobby. =(

Loumeer
I am deeply moved by this news. I never knew the man but his work has been second to none. Going to be a long time before we see such an aquarium master again.
Shrimpy Daddy
Yes, it is sad. He is like Steve Jobs in the planted tank world. It is a huge lost to the community.
Ch3fb0yrdee
My initial inspiration for planted tanks and aquascaping. Takashi Amano’s passing will be sorely missed by all those inspired by him, his methods, and the wonderful products he’s brought to the hobby. Definitely a man whose revolutionize much of freshwater aquaria.
