OMG Aquatics
I haven't been feeding my Fire Red Shrimp because I thought I had enough food from the java moss and plants. I woke up today with 3 dead and all of the dead ones were being eaten as if they haven't eaten for 1 month. Did they die because I didn't feed them? Hopefully the food I purchased from TheShrimpTank delivers on time if USPS doesn't screw up.
Soothing Shrimp
Shrimp are opportunistic. So if a dead shrimp is in the tank, they'll eat them. It could be your food, but not necessarily.
Doc4PC2
My shrimp did not eat the ones that died. I wonder if I am over feeding? I feed every other day, and never leave any food for over three hours. If they haven't eaten it all in 3 hours, I take what is left out. Soothing Shrimp
I wouldn't worry about it. Sounds like your shrimp are happy.
Louie
Poopians, Why not feed at least once a week , at least this way you can introduce some protein , etc ?
